My 7-yr-old piano student has a guinea pig in a delightful open environment next to the piano. "Flora" always comes out of her shelter to attend our lessons!

I loved your article on Vonnegut. Hope you read Man Without a Country by now. Guinea pigs are way cute. I considered getting one but the minimum required space to raise them well is huge.
